Description:
The ideal candidate shall have some experience in .NET developer with an excellent experience using Microsoft development tools and practices.
We are seeking IT Developers with an excellent grasp of .NET Framework (4.0 and higher) and VB.net to code a suite of multi-tier, event-driven applications.
Additional skills required include strong communication skills and client facing experience.
Education: BS in, Computer Science or related field
Skills Required:
• Good Understanding of User Interface Design
• Thorough understanding of the .NET framework
• Experience with the following: n-tier architecture development, windows and web services development experience, and ASP.NET/MVC and ADO.net and XML
• JavaScript
• ASP.net and HMTL controls
• IIS Administration and configuration
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Develop systems based on user requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 - 2013
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to provide high quality code for mission critical application
• High level of initiative and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus
• Using third parties controls e.g. “Telerik”
• Ability to read and document technical requirements.
Skills Preferred:
• Developing publish/subscribe event-driven applications
• Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SCRUM, SDLC, UML, etc.
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Crystal reports
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design.
• Experience in JQuery, HTML, CSS is plus.
• Client-side scripting experience with JavaScript and jQuery and HTML5 experience a plus.
• Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus (procedures functions)
